Defence Housing Authority Jobs : Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – DHA SEZ Malir Industrial Park (MIP)

Position Details :

Qualifications and Requirements :

  • Educational Background: Chartered Accountant (CA) with expertise in the fields of Accounts, Finance, Corporate Laws, Audits, Taxation, and related domains.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 10 years of experience with at least 5 years in the industrial/real estate sector.
    • Proven track record in handling financial affairs of autonomous bodies.
    • Expertise in financial planning, development, and implementation of an advanced Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • Age Limit: 40 to 55 years.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Strategic Financial Leadership
    • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with DHA Malir Industrial Park’s vision.
    • Drive financial stability and sustainable business growth within the SEZ.
  2. Budgeting and Resource Allocation
    • Oversee efficient budgeting processes and allocation of resources.
    • Ensure alignment with the development of infrastructure and operations of MIP.
    • Collaborate with public and private sector stakeholders to create financial solutions tailored to the SEZ.
  3. Financial Ecosystem Management
    • Assess and mitigate financial risks.
    • Ensure compliance with local regulations and global economic trends.
    • Enhance transparency in financial operations through advanced ERP systems.
  4. Regulatory Compliance and Policy Expertise
    • Stay updated on legal frameworks and ensure adherence to economic zone policies.
    • Maintain coordination with regulatory bodies to achieve investment-friendly operations.
  5. Financial Reporting
    • Manage and present comprehensive financial reports, including balance sheets, budget overviews, and income statements.
    • Establish investment protocols to foster industrial growth.
  6. Team Leadership
    • Build a dynamic finance team.
    • Promote mentorship and foster professional growth within the organization.
