CPPA is responsible for power procurement, billing, settlements for Distribution Companies, and supporting the competitive electric market development in Pakistan.

A. Chief Financial Officer (CFO) :
- Position Overview:
- We are hiring a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead financial operations in Pakistan’s energy sector. The CFO will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, tax compliance, and regulatory requirements with a specific focus on Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), tariffs, and sector-specific regulations. This role requires expertise in financial modeling, energy sector finance, and advanced financial software like Excel, Power BI, and ERP.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies.
- Conduct internal controls, audits, and risk management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including Regulators, Financial Institutions, and Independent Power Producers (IPPs).
- Lead negotiations and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Required Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA), Chartered Management Accountant (CMA), or ACCA (FCA, FCMA, FCCA).
- Professional Experience:
- 15+ years of post-qualification experience in public, private, or international organizations.
- 7+ years in the Power Sector, with at least 5 years in senior management.
- Age Limit:
- The candidate must not exceed 57 years at the time of closing of the advertisement.
B. Chief Technical Officer (CTO) :
- Position Overview:
- We are seeking a Chief Technical Officer (CTO) with extensive expertise in power generation, transmission, and distribution. The ideal candidate will excel in energy contracts, regulatory compliance, and operations management of both conventional and non-conventional power plants.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate contracts with IPPs and other cross-functional teams.
- Align technical strategies with business objectives.
- Maintain strong stakeholder relations with Government Bodies, Regulators, and Industry Partners.
- Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Power Engineering (16 years of education).
- Candidates with additional certifications in Project Management or Business Administration will have an advantage.
- Professional Experience:
- At least 18 years of post-qualification experience.
- 10+ years in Power Generation, with 5+ years in senior management or leadership roles.
- Age Limit:
- The candidate must not exceed 57 years at the time of closing of the advertisement.
