Position Summary :
USAID Pakistan is seeking a highly organized and proactive Human Resources Assistant to join the team in Islamabad. This FSN-9 level position provides critical HR support to ensure smooth operations within the HR department, assists with recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and personnel management. Key Responsibilities :
- Recruitment & Staffing Support: Coordinate with hiring managers, assist in recruitment activities, post job vacancies, and schedule interviews.
- Onboarding & Orientation: Manage onboarding processes, conduct orientation sessions, and ensure a seamless experience for new hires.
- HR Documentation & Data Management: Maintain accurate HR records, update personnel files, and manage confidential data in compliance with USAID regulations.
- Employee Engagement & Communication: Support employee relations programs, facilitate communication, and provide assistance with employee inquiries.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with USAID policies and local labor laws, assist with audits, and prepare regular HR reports.
Qualifications and Requirements :
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of three years in human resources, preferably within an international organization or similar setting.
- Skills: Proficiency in HR software, Microsoft Office Suite, excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Language: Fluency in English and Urdu.
- Other Requirements: Strong knowledge of HR principles and practices, including local labor laws and regulations.
