Job Opportunity: Financial Management Specialist – Punjab Agriculture Department
The Punjab Agriculture Department is seeking qualified and experienced professionals for the contract-based position of Financial Management Specialist under the “Chief Minister’s Punjab Green Tractor Program” for 2024-25. This is an excellent opportunity for eligible candidates to contribute to a meaningful government project focused on agriculture development in Punjab.

- Position Title: Financial Management Specialist
- Number of Posts: 1
- Project Pay Scale: 09
- Age Limit: Up to 50 years
- Contract Duration: Until June 30, 2025 (extendable based on project needs)
Qualification, Experience, and Eligibility :
1. Educational Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- Alternatively, a Master’s degree or equivalent professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is acceptable.
2. Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 08 years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior role. Previous experience in subsidy schemes or agricultural projects is a plus.
3. Key Skills:
- Strong understanding of financial management principles, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.
- Knowledge of subsidy schemes and agricultural finance is advantageous.
- Proficiency in interpreting complex financial data and managing funds.
- Familiarity with financial and management software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, MS Office).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly.
- High ethical standards, a commitment to transparency and accountability, and strong problem-solving abilities.
