The Treasurer will be responsible for managing the financial operations of Bahauddin Zakariya University, including budgeting, auditing, financial planning, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards. The ideal candidate must possess strong financial acumen, extensive experience, and the ability to manage and oversee all financial affairs of the institution.

Eligibility Criteria :
Qualifications and Experience Requirements :
Candidates must meet at least one of the following qualification and experience options:
Option A:
- Education: PhD in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Auditing, or Economics from a university or Degree Awarding Institution recognized by the HEC.
- Experience: 8 years of post-qualification experience in BPS-17 or above within a university or an equivalent position in a reputed organization.
Option B:
- Education: M.Phil in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Auditing, or Economics (18 years of education) from a university or Degree Awarding Institution recognized by the HEC.
- Experience: 10 years of post-qualification experience in BPS-17 or above within a university or an equivalent position in a reputed organization.
Option C:
- Education: MBA/Finance, M.Com, ACCA, ACMA, or MSc (18 years of education) in a related field from a university or Degree Awarding Institution recognized by the HEC.
- Experience: 12 years of post-qualification experience in BPS-17 or above within a university or an equivalent position in a reputed organization.
General Instructions for Applicants :
- Application Process: Applications should be submitted online via the BZU website at www.bzu.edu.pk. After online submission, a hard copy of the application, along with required documents, should be submitted to the university.
- Documents Required: Applications must include:
- Verified copies of degrees and certificates.
- Valid CNIC.
- Updated CV.
- Domicile certificate.
- Experience certificates.
- Recent passport-sized photograph.
- Application Submission: Completed applications (both online and hard copy) must be submitted by November 28, 2024.
- Processing Fee: A non-refundable processing fee of PKR 5,000 must be deposited via Challan, payable to HBL A/C # 12717900634601 or UBL A/C # 085700300013. Proof of payment should be attached to the application form.
- Incomplete Applications: Applications that are incomplete, received after the due date, or lacking required documentation will not be considered.
Additional Information :
- Foreign Qualifications: Candidates with degrees from foreign institutions must provide equivalency certificates issued by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan or the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC).
- Age Relaxation: No age relaxation will be granted.
- Experience Verification: Only experience relevant to the post and acquired after meeting the minimum qualification requirements will be considered.
- Shortlisting and Interview Process: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview. No TA/DA will be provided.
- Preference Criteria: Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Prior experience in financial management roles in reputable educational institutions.
- Additional relevant certifications or professional qualifications.
- Familiarity with government financial regulations and university financial management.
- Equivalence of Experience and Qualification: The equivalence of qualification and experience for the post will be determined by the University Selection Board and is final.
Important Notes for Applicants :
- Application Form Requirements: Ensure that a recent passport-sized photograph is attached to the application form.
- Government Employees: Candidates currently working in Government/Semi-Government departments or Autonomous bodies must apply through proper channels, attaching NOC from the current employer. Applications not routed through the proper channels will not be accepted.
- Applications Submitted Late: Applications received after the due date, even if dispatched by post, will not be considered.
- Original Documents Verification: Candidates must bring original documents at the time of the interview for verification.
- Right to Reject Applications: The university reserves the right to reject any application without providing any reason.
