Current Openings :
1. Inspector (Environment) – BS-13 :
- Number of Posts: 80
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences from a recognized university with at least 60% marks.
- Age Limit: 21-28 years (Age relaxation applicable as per Contract Policy).
- Nature of Posting : On 3 years’ contract basis.
- Responsibilities: Inspectors are responsible for monitoring environmental compliance, implementing laws and policies, and ensuring that industries and other sectors adhere to environmental regulations. This role involves on-ground inspections, data analysis, and reporting on environmental issues across Punjab.
2. Field Assistant – BS-06 :
- Number of Posts: 208
- Qualification: F.Sc. (2nd Division) from a recognized board.
- Age Limit: 18-25 years (Age relaxation applicable as per Contract Policy).
- Responsibilities: Field Assistants will support environmental monitoring, assist with field data collection, and work alongside inspectors in various operations. They play a key role in gathering accurate environmental data and reporting observations from different field locations.

- Opening Date : Online applications start from today October 29 , 2024.
- Application Deadline: The last date to apply online is November 20 , 2024.
- Job Location: Successful candidates will be posted anywhere in Punjab based on departmental requirements.
- Contract Duration: The positions are initially offered on a three-year contract, with the possibility of extension as per departmental needs and policies.

- How to Apply:
Candidates must apply online through the Punjab Job Portal at www.jobs.punjab.gov.pk. Applications submitted by hand, post, or courier will not be entertained. Only applications submitted via the portal will be considered. - Domicile Requirement:
Only candidates with a Punjab domicile are eligible to apply for these positions. - Quotas:
- 15% quota for women
- 5% quota for minorities
- 3% quota for special persons These quotas ensure inclusivity and provide equal opportunity to all eligible candidates as per the Government’s policies.
- Selection and Test/Interview Process:
- Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the test and interview. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official website for updates.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending tests or interviews.
- Submission for Government Employees:
Candidates who are currently employed by the government must apply through the proper channel. An NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the current employer/department is required for consideration. - Application Instructions:
- Incomplete or inaccurate applications will not be entertained. Candidates must fill in all required fields carefully.
- Applications received after the deadline of 20th November 2024 will not be considered.
- Job Posting Flexibility:
Selected candidates must be willing to work in any part of Punjab as required by the department. Assignments may involve fieldwork and traveling to remote or rural areas. - Important Notices:
