- Open Merit: 78 seats

Key Responsibilities :
As a Ziladar, selected candidates will be expected to:
Manage Water Distribution :
- Monitor and regulate water flows to ensure equitable distribution across assigned areas.
- Maintain and oversee irrigation schedules to support agricultural and municipal needs.
Conduct Field Inspections :
- Regularly inspect canals, dams, and other irrigation infrastructure to ensure functionality and safety.
- Report damages, obstructions, or irregularities in the irrigation system for immediate resolution.
Administrative Duties :
- Maintain accurate records of water distribution and consumption.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on irrigation activities and submit them to senior management.
Community Engagement and Awareness :
- Liaise with local communities and farmers to understand water distribution needs and educate them on sustainable water usage practices.
- Address concerns from stakeholders regarding water distribution and irrigation schedules.
Eligibility Criteria :
Candidates interested in applying for the Ziladar (BS-16) positions must meet the following criteria:
Educational Qualification :
- Minimum Requirement: 14 Years education from an HEC recognized university of college.
- Candidates with higher educational qualifications, such as a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, will be given preference.
Experience :
- No prior experience required for open merit positions; fresh candidates are encouraged to apply.
- For departmental candidates applying under the quota, relevant experience within the irrigation or related department is preferred.
Age Limit :
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 30 years (age relaxation may apply as per government regulations for specific categories)
Physical Fitness :
- The role involves field inspections and physically demanding activities. Candidates should be physically fit and able to perform the necessary duties.
Additional Skills :
